Globetrotter CB Hoyo will be having two solo shows in these summer months: Made in China in Hong Kong from July 3rd until the 16th and a solo show in Chicago, USA in August. In Hong Kong, CB plans to mix his signature style with new mediums never before shown in his body of work—15 new sculptures made out of donated or seized counterfeit designer goods. Fresh off his Imitate Modern instagram takeover, American photographer Tyler Shields (hot from his week-long Instagram takeover of Imitate Modern) is showing at Miller Gallery in Cincinnati, USA from June 21-July 19 and at Samuel Lynn Gallery in Dallas, USA on August 4th where he will be debuting his new Paint series. For those waiting to get some time off work, stop by Amanda Wakeley Boutique on 18 Ablemarle Street in London this week. Half a Roast Chicken will be installing a week long show featuring works from the artist’s archive in celebration of the 250th year of the Royal Academy and consequently, the 250th Summer Exhibition. Recently nominated for the Young Talent Award, her provocative mixture of written language, meaning and neon continues to gather attention and intrigue around this growing powerhouse. Just seen in Pop Rocks at Imitate Modern! Rich Simmons continues to sell works around the globe. His work can be seen in Art Angels Gallery in Los Angeles until Mid-July, and where he recently sold a unique “Mona Lisa Reflections” in Blonde!
