Photographer Fenton Bailey, son of the legendary David Bailey, debuted his work in the Human Relations exhibition at Imitate Modern last year. Not only is he following in his father’s footsteps, but is also working closely with him as his assistant, Fenton has shown us glimpses of his own talent for capturing intimate moments on film.
“I was using a website called Polanoid, akin to Instagram but you can only upload instant film, of any kind. This in itself is an expensive exercise but despite this, lots of the photographers uploading onto it were themselves amateurs but still willing to spend just to upload for the site. Some of the pictures on there were so breathtaking, it made me realise that anyone with the freedom to do what they love, could be an artist and this made me want to get involved.”
