Tony McGee – David Bowie “UNSEEN” Exhibition Catalogue
The exhibition showcases a number of limited edition prints taken by Tony McGee, who has truly managed to capture the multi-faceted nature of David Bowie, both as an artist and an individual. McGee had unique access to the star, thanks to a close professional relationship and friendship.
Tony McGee was first introduced to Bowie by Mick Jagger’s wife Jerry Hall at a cocktail party hosted by producer Michael White. Days later, Bowie’s record label was asking Tony to shoot the publicity for Bowie’s Lets Dance tour, 1983. From there, six photoshoots – including a cover for The Face – and a 30 year-long friendship unfolded.
The catalogue is free, but we charge for p&p.
