PAUL OZ IN MEXICO FOR F1 GRAND PRIX
Explosive portrait artist Paul Oz spent last week in Mexico for F1 Grand Prix, presenting his new portrait of the iconic driver Jenson Button. Follow the adventure with his commentary below!
Paul Oz: “It’s always nerve wracking meeting people with a portrait of themselves…. some don’t like the very idea, some are bemused, others love it. A reaction like this one from Jenson though, makes me love my ‘job’ even more than you’d know!
At the British Embassy in Mexico last week launching ‘Innovation is GREAT Britain’, the logo you may have seen on the McLaren rear wing in Mexico, promoting trade around the globe… which could be a very important role in the coming years hey!”
Paul Oz: “Incredible F1 launch party last night at the British Embassy in Mexico. On stage with the British Ambassador and Jenson Button. I don’t think I stopped talking for 5 hours, great to meet so many massive fans of F1 and of Great Britain here! #InnovationIsGREAT
Now then… after spud all sleep thanks to protests outside all night…. still buzzing and ready to dooo this. Live painting in paddock club from 10am!”
