British summertime is finally is here along with the Festival season!
After a month solo exhibition with Paul Oz at Piccadilly, we at Imitate Modern took off to the country side to join the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
This yearly congregation of automobile and motor racing lovers takes place in West Sussex in the grounds of Goodwood House for a few days where crowds gather to view some historic cars as well as the latest inventions from international car makers.
Imitate Modern had its own exhibition tent at the Formula One Paddock. Among the works on show were artworks by Paul Oz including portraits of Senna, Hunt, Schumacher and Button as well as an original Lewis Hamilton painting. We have enjoyed beautiful weather and Paul Oz himself was around to hand embellish his prints and speak to visitors.
Among the most talked about works from our stand were images by Tyler Shields which involved a Silver Shadow Rolls Royce blown up and a statue by Paul Oz with a copy of Lewis Hamilton’s helmet, which was greatly appreciated by many of his fans present at the Festival!
